  • Salary information (for tenancy agreements)
  • Bank details
  • Copies of identification documents such as driving licence, passport and/or utility bills

What we do with this information

In order to provide information that you have requested or to fulfil our contractual obligations with you or to comply with a legal requirement such as anti-money laundering, we may use this information to:-

  • Confirm viewing appointments
  • Prepare memorandum of sales, tenancy agreements and contracts of engagement
  • Complete chattels, property and on-line machinery auctions
  • Make a payment to you or collect a payment from you via our Accounts team or a Solicitor
  • Send information to you about property/land or services that may be of interest to you
  • Request a photographer attend your property for marketing purposes
  • Ask Contractors to attend to repairs on rental properties
  • Send an Energy Assessor to your property

We will share your data with third party service providers or other departments within Durrants where it is necessary to administer the working relationship with you or where we have another legitimate interest in doing so. Third parties include vendors of property, land or machinery, companies we use for reference checks and anti-money laundering checks, solicitors, energy assessors, photographers and maintenance contractors. With your consent we may pass your details to a mortgage adviser or solicitor.

We will also share your data with software and system providers including but not limited to:

BriefYourMarket, Sage, Iam-Sold and Jupix and;

Website Hosts and analytics platform providers including but not limited to:

BriefYourMarket, Google Analytics.

We require third parties to respect the security of your data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We do not allow our third party service providers to use your information for their own purposes. We only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
