A direct descendent of our founder, George Durrant, Nicholas studied structural engineering in London for BSc and MSc degrees. He also studied Oceanography in Massachusetts. Nicholas worked in the Middle East and in London for Italian and American companies before joining the family firm at the Harleston office. He became Chairman in 1993 and now specialises in Commercial, Agricultural and Litigation matters.
