Durrants are both pleased and proud to name Clinks Care Farm their charity of the year for 2018.
The 143 acre, award-winning, Norfolk county farm in Toft Monks combines the care of land with the care of people. The care farm offers opportunities for people to help out on the farm. This naturally therapeutic environment can aid people’s recovery and can be a preparation for employment in the farming sector.
Clinks Care Farm was launched in May 2010 and is run by husband and wife team Doeke Dobma and Iris van Zon supported by a dedicated team of directors, staff, volunteers and local colleague farmers. Doeke comments:
“Clinks Care Farm is delighted to be selected as Durrants’ charity of the year for 2018. It’s great to have the support of such an important local business, which will help us in our mission to care for people, care for the land and produce healthy local food.”
Over the course of 2018 Durrants will support this deserving charity through the sharing of expert advice and of course by raising funds through events such as the annual clay shoot, the auction rooms and staff fundraising.
“Durrants have worked with generations of farmers and landowners in Norfolk and Suffolk since 1853. Not only will Clinks Care Farm benefit financially from the money raised by us through charity events and competitions, but they will also benefit from our years of expertise that we are proud to share for such a deserving cause.”
